Each participant leaves with a 'ready to hang' piece of work. We're open to suggestions for painting themes inspired by your favourite artist, piece of work, subject or palette preference. Even your corporate colours.
We supply - table coverings, drop cloths, table easels, paint (made in Australia), palettes, brushes, cotton rags, water pots, quality double thick 40cm x 50cm canvases, printed visual aids.
A fun music playlist (can be customised) played through a portable ue boom speaker.
You supply the space, tables and drinks n' nibblies. I have some fold up tables to add into the mix if needed.
PARROT
A fun , bright and bold stylized parrot. This composition allows for a lot of personal interpretation in terms of palette colour and brushwork. Scroll through to see the dynamic variety this class enables. You'll finish with the production of a unique and colourful flock.
BEE
BUZZING with fun. A step by step guide to paint a bumble bee. A broad range of brushwork is learned along the way from fine hair strokes to translucent wings. Visual aids of a variety of other bees are provided for those who feel inspired to fly off in their own direction.
COCKATOO
It doesn't get more Aussie than this... our beloved Silver Crested Cockatoo. A variety of brushwork is learned to capture each facet, from the sweeping crest to the textured dot work. Pick a bright background colour to add your own flair!
FLOWER VASE
An elegant, patterned vase of flowers. Step by step guidance with the encouragement for each participant to add their own flair and colour palette.
ORGANIC ABSTRACT
Create an abstract painting inspired by organic shapes from nature. This theme allows abundant scope for individual interpretation and colour palette.
BOTANICAL WATERCOLOUR
A water colour workshop, playing with a botanical theme. You'll explore the qualities of this medium, and learn techniques to create your individual composition. Each participant walks away with a 'ready to hang' framed water colour piece.
PET PORTRAITS
You supply us with a favourite photo of your fur baby. We will stylize it for you to trace onto the canvas then guide you through a step-by-step process to bring them alive on canvas with a variety of brushstrokes and techniques. Numbers are limited in this class to ensure quality one-on-one input from the instructor.
PLACEMAT SETTING WORKSHOP - STARRY NIGHT THEME OR AUSTRALIAN NATIVE FLOWERS THEME
'Dinner for two'
A fun group workshop, creating a decorative placemat setting to keep or gift. Each participant paints 2 placemats and 2 coasters made from craftwood, and is given a brush & sealant take-home-kit to add a protective layer. Choose from these 2 available themes or talk to me about a custom theme.
